The story
Made for the record
Winter In The North was tracked in January with the studio heating off — you can hear it in the Rhodes. Warm electric piano, brushed percussion and a bassline that hums more than it hits.
The definitive slow-burn R&B record in the catalogue: made for layered backgrounds and a lead vocal that barely rises above a whisper.
